EchoIRLP

EchoIRLP is a linux based software package which allows Echolink users access to repeaters around the globe via current IRLP hardware and software. For security reasons, EchoIRLP does not allow cross linking between the Echolink and IRLP systems.

Due to past abuse on the system and the large number of “silent” connections originating from stations outside of SA , incoming calls from Echolink stations outside of SA are blocked by default. Should you require access to the node, please “Contact Us” and request access (where possible, access requests will be dealt with within 48hrs).

To differentiate the Echolink connections from IRLP ones, outgoing Echolink node numbers should be prefixed by ** (eg. to call Echolink node 1652, send DTMF **1652).

Please take a few minutes to familiarise yourself with the “Basic Operating Guidelines for IRLP” found on the IRLP page prior to using the node.

A list of current Echolink logins can be found here.
