Bulletins & Nets
We’re excited to bring you a week filled with engaging bulletins and nets, connecting you to the pulse of the amateur radio world. Here’s your guide to what’s happening throughout the week:
- Sunday – The Club bulletin can be heard every Sunday morning at 07h45 on the 145.7625MHz repeater. When possible, this bulletin is re-broadcast at 18h30 on a Sunday evening.
- Monday – Listen to the AR-Newsline and/or WIA-News or join in a fun Trivia Quiz on Monday evening at 19h30 on the 145.7625 MHz repeater, with a link on 439.025 simplex (88.5 tone).
- Tuesday – Join the weekly DMR-ZA Net at 19h30 on DMR Talk-group 655 (South Africa). This is an open net and all DMR stations are welcome to join in.
- Wednesday – The Hamnet Indaba starts at 19:30 to discuss emergency communication and related activities. The KZN Hamnet Bulletin is held on Sunday at 07:00. Join in on the 145.7625 repeater with a link on 439.025 simplex (88.5 tone).
- Thursday – Join the 4-Meter Net on 70.200mhz FM with a link onto the 145.7625 Repeater, and the 439.025mhz simplex link (88.5 tone)
These bulletins and nets are designed for you, our members. Engage, ask questions, and make the most of these opportunities to enhance your amateur radio experience.
Meetings & Swopshop/Open days
- Our monthly club meetings are the heartbeat of our ham radio community. Join us for discussions, updates, and the opportunity to connect with fellow radio enthusiasts. Monthly club meetings are held on the 3rd Saturday each month at 10h00 for 10h30 at the New Germany Sports Club located at 2 Harvey Road, New Germany.
- Discover hidden treasures, swap equipment, and immerse yourself in the vibrant atmosphere of our Swopshop/Open Days. Held on the last Saturday of each month, starting at 10h00, at the beautiful New Germany Nature Reserve, these events are not only about trading gear but also about building connections within the amateur radio community.
